I’m now a dbt Certified Developer
I passed the exam! It was a bit harder than expected actually. If you’re going to take it, I recommend reviewing all the fundamental concepts of dbt and then doing some free practice tests (you’ll find a bunch of them through Google). Aim for about ~90% pass rate in the practice exams before taking on the real one.

This is actually not a new discovery for me, but I only recently realized how awesome Simon Späti’s website for data engineering really is. It’s an absolute treasure trove for DE knowledge. To start with, I really recommend reading one of his latest posts: A Diary of a Data Engineer.
In search of a side project
Now that spring is soon here, I feel like I need a new project or a hobby in my life. I haven’t decided yet what it could be. Building a magic mirror? Woodworking? Or shall I starting brewing my own beer? Who knows. But that’s what makes life so exciting! You’ll never know what the tide will bring in tomorrow.
